MEET MY CABINET: DECLAN aka DECCY

Today we are please to feature
DECLAN
Commissioner of Music
Deccy I thank you from the bottom of my itty bitty kitty heart
for pawticipating and for the most excellent and
funny answers.

1.Please introduce yourself and  tell us your age and a very special trait.
Good Day everyone. I am Declan Greyhound, Commissioner of Music to Mayor Madi. All my friends call me Deccy so I hope you will do the same. I am a 5 year old retired racing Greyhound and I live with my two Mums and my cat KC in Yorkshire, UK. I have lived with my Mums since they adopted me from a Greyhound rescue organisation in July 2011. I am best known for my ability to sleep, eat and fart. It is this particular talent that got me this job with Mayor Madi. Who ever said farting is a bad thing got it wrong!

2. If you had an alter ego, who would you like to be and why?
There are lots of people I'd like to be but probably my favourite would be Clark Gable. Suave, sophisticated and rumour has it, he could really let rip when the mood took him...) We also look quite alike.

3. What do you like best/least about where you live?
Hmmm. Well I like it best because it's where my Mums are, but Yorkshire is famous for many things:  Beer, Yorkshire Pudding, Fish & Chips, Beer,  Yorkshire Moors, James Herriot, Beer, Captain James Cook, The Bronte sisters, Beer,  David Hockney, Henry Moore and Beer.
4. Who are some of the peeps/furiends you  would like to meet and why?
I'd really like to meet lots of my Blogville and Facebook friends in the flesh / fur. Pip & Puddles are coming to visit *puts tin hat on*   but I guess I'll never see lots of you. Mum says I'd like to meet Debbie Harry, but I think that's her muscling in on my questions....
5. If you could give one piece of random advice what would it be?
If they label you "cat friendly" keep your mouth shut.......
6. What do you do for fun?
Sleep, Eat & Fart. I also love visiting my Ganny as she spoils me and has a big garden I can do zoomies in.
7.What is the first thing yo do each morning?
Shake, Stretch & Fart.
8. What is the first thing you notice about a new furiend?
Their humour...I love anyone who makes me chortle! Having said that I'm not adverse to a pretty girl.....
9. Tell us how you came to live in your family and how you got your name?
As I said I was adopted from a Greyhound rescue organisation. As for my name, well it's a bit silly really. Before my Mums met me, they were going to see another Greyhound called Lachlan, but before they got to meet him he failed his "cat friendly" test (the irony kills me......!!) Mums could never remember his name and kept calling him Declan. When they met Mr Cat Friendly Me (yeah right...) I was called Barrigone Bank, which is a bit of a mouthful, so they called me Declan.
10. What is your absolute favorite food?
Pretty much anything edible, but I think chicken livers is my absolute favourite.
If you want to LOL/MOL/BOL
